Waterford Tennis Association

The Waterford Tennis Association was established in 2009.  Our mission is to promote, develop, and service the growth of tennis in the Waterford area.

Tennis Pro: John Kastengren

John is a USPTA Certified Teaching Professional who has experience with all ages and levels of students from beginners to state champions. John has been the Waterford Union High School’s Girls and Boys JV Coach from 2011-2015, the Girls Head coach 2016-2017 and continues to coach the Boys JV team. John has coached several State qualifiers. John will be teaching and supervising the WTA tennis programs.

Coach: Brittany Rohrsen

WTA is excited to welcome Brittany Rohrsen to our coaching staff! Brittany is a two-time state qualifier from St. Charles North High School. She has coached tennis for the Geneva Park District in Illinois from 2015-2020 working with athletes of all ages and levels. She also coached the JV Girls Tennis Team at Waterford Union High School in the fall of 2020.

Coach: Mitch Toboyek

Mitch has been teaching tennis for 10 years in a wide variety of capacities. Mitch was a co-coach for the Waterford Girls Varsity team in 2020, has formerly worked for four years as a Club Tennis Pro at Lake Geneva Tennis Club, and has also been the Tennis Director at BigFoot Country Club. He is certified as a teaching pro through the USPTA. As a player, Mitch was a WI state qualifier and ended up graduating in the top five for total all-time wins in the Muskego Boys Tennis program. He was also inducted into the Muskego High School Tennis Hall of Fame upon graduation. Mitch is excited to be involved again in Waterford Tennis as his first coaching experience was as an instructor for the Waterford summer camps while he was a student at Muskego High School!
